Signs Identity
The Forcibly Removed story delves into the troubled legacy of Indian boarding schools in the U.S., capturing survivors' experiences through portraits by Daniella Zalcman and text by Suzette Brewer, a member of the Cherokee Nation. I was responsible for designing both the print and web versions, ensuring a seamless visual experience across platforms. In print, I created layouts that amplified the emotional weight of the story, using powerful imagery and thoughtful typography. For the web, I enhanced interactivity with multimedia elements, creating an immersive experience for the audience across both mediums.
