Ghost Forests
For National Geographic's Ghost Forests, I designed both the print and web versions to create a unified visual narrative. In print, I used striking photography and minimalist layouts to emphasize the haunting landscapes, allowing the environmental message to stand out. For the web, I integrated interactive features and layered visuals that invited readers to explore the story in greater depth. Despite their resilience, ghost forests, particularly cypress trees, are facing a growing threat, which was central to the design approach. This story design is also a finalist in the SPD 59 Awards from The Society of Publication Designers (SPD).
